It all started long before Ancebazaar came to life. My love for clothing, especially unique and meaningful pieces, began in childhood. I used to enjoy restyling and reworking garments just for fun – giving them new shapes, fresh details, and a personal touch. Luckily, my mom was a seamstress, and she brought all my little ideas to life. Whatever I imagined, she could sew, fix, or transform.
Since an early age, I appreciated uniqueness and quality. I was never drawn to fast fashion or disposable trends – I’ve always loved timeless pieces that tell a story and last. That passion naturally evolved into selling my own wardrobe – mostly vintage items, handmade or reworked by me.
After seeing how well it was going, I decided to take the next step. In 2012, I launched my first online boutique on ASOS Marketplace, under the name Goose Goose.
We spent 13 years on ASOS Marketplace, growing our small shop into a well-loved boutique. Over the years, we gained thousands of happy customers, built a strong community, and received hundreds of amazing reviews that fueled our motivation and creativity.
As the business grew, my mom became a key part of it. She would repair pieces if needed, prepare them for shipping, and pack them with love and care. What started as a solo project turned into a small family business, built with passion and shared values.
Today, that journey has taken us to a new level – our own online store: Ancebazaar.com. Here we continue doing what we love: curating, reworking, and sharing clothing with soul – garments that stand out, that last, and that carry stories.
